AS350 channel for Bi-fold doors

The global market for bi fold doors was estimated to be worth nearly $10bn in 2016 and is expected to reach $14bn in 2023, growing around 5.2% per year from 2017 to 2023 (source: Allied Market Research). With this type of door being so popular, particularly in Europe, ACO has developed a level threshold drainage channel to meet the requirements around these types of door.

With the volume of water running off bi-fold or patio doors our new AS350 is an ideal patio drainage channel solution. The AS350 is available in different widths of drainage channel and grating to suit the look you are trying to create whilst being able to mitigate the effects of water trying to cross level thresholds.

The AS350 allows for the waterproof membrane to be clipped under the bifold door threshold and run down into the back of the channel which is bedded in concrete. Once the lid of the channel added the membrane is fixed in place meaning water running down the door and over the threshold is caught in the drainage channel. The lid of the channel goes up to the finished floor level which can then be completed with desired effect e.g. paving slabs, decking etc.

Available in a range of bespoke lengths and depths with drain cover access units the AS350 provides a stylish finish for a level threshold or patio.
